I started my aviation and air cargo career in the mid 1980's, initially as a reservations agent for British Airways in New York City, and quickly moved into and started my cargo career as a sales executive in 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA., USA, where I had the responsibility to fill a daily wide body passenger belly (L1011, B747-400) capacity to London and beyond into BA's global network. Now with more than 37 years in executive leadership positions: Chief Commercial Officer; Senior Vice President; Vice President; of Sales, Marketing, Business Development & Service roles for various cargo carries and cargo asset intensive businesses I am launching an independent strategy management consultancy, advisory & business development practice.
